Call for Application for 6-Month Bridge Program (Certificate) in Community Health under National Health Mission, Uttar Pradesh

UP-TSU (Uttar Pradesh Technical Support Unit) on behalf of Uttar Pradesh National Health Mission invites the candidates who are willing and enthusiastic to serve the community by bringing health care services to the doorsteps of the community to apply for the 6 - Months Bridge Program (Certificate) in Community Health. This course is part of an initiative under the National Health Mission to strengthen Sub-Centers as Health and Wellness Centers (H&WCs) for improved implementation of public health programmes and to enable comprehensive primary health care service delivery, including disease prevention and health promotion. Candidates who successfully complete this course will be posted at 990 Sub-Centers as Community Health Officers (CHOs) under District Sitapur, Gorakhpur, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Farrukhabad, Allahabad, Basti, Jhansi, Bareilly, Meerut, Shrawasti, Agra, Aligarh, Auraiya, Azamgarh, Bahraich, Balrampur, Barabanki, Bijnor, Chandauli, Chitrakoot, Fatehpur, Gautam Budhnagar, Ghaziabad, Hardoi, Jalaun, Jaunpur, Kanpur Nagar, Kushinagar, Lakhimpur Khiri, Lalitpur, Lucknow, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Pilibhit, Raebareli, Shahjahanpur, Siddarthnagar, Sonbhadra, Sultanpur and Unnao to lead a primary health care team consisting of frontline workers such as Female Health Workers (ANMs), Male Health Workers (MPWs) and ASHAs.

Salary - 
Stipend/Honoraria and other facilitation for selected candidates: 

➧Rs.20,000/- per month will be offered as stipend during the training period.


➧Maximum Rs.35,000/- per month (Rs. 20,000/- Honoraria+Rs.15,000/- Performance Based Incentive) will be offered at the time of posting at Districts as CHOs subject to guidelines issued by Govt. of India.

➧National Health Mission, UP shall provide support for boarding and lodging allowance, IGNOU fees, transport for practicum and other training related costs.

➧Candidates have to sign a Surety bond to serve at Sub Centers/Health & Wellness Center for at least three years after successful completion of 6 months training


Qualifications  - 

1.General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) RNRM from a recognized institute/ Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a recognized Institute/University.

2.Less than 35 years of age at the date of advertisement and reservation policy is applicable as per UP state Government rules

Desirable Criteria: 
1.Proficiency in regional/local language and dialect.
2.2 years of relevant work experience in the health sector.
3.Work experience in the public health system, preferably at the Primary/Community Health Center level.

No documents including the Registration Slip of On-line application form is required to be sent, however, all the applicants are advised to keep a print out of registration slip with them, along with proof of payment (a copy of online payment receipt) for their record and submit as and when requested.


2. The Online Recruitment Test will be based from among the subjects pertaining to (a) General Nursing (b) Neurological Nursing, (c) Psychiatric Nursing and (d) Infection Control. 


3. Mock Test Paper will be uploaded in the Website on 22.05.2018 (NOTE: Mock Test is not related to the actual examination, it is just to get familiarize with the examination pattern only) 

4. The On-line Registration will be closed on 10.05.2018. The candidature of such applicants who fails to complete the online registration by the stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. 

5. Candidate must be an Indian National residing in India only. 



6. The prescribed application processing fee for the said post is Rs.1000/- (Rs.750/- in case of SC/ST candidates) plus CGST : 9% , SGST: 9% and shall be paid through DEBIT CARD/ CREDIT CARD / NET BANKING. Transaction /Processing fee, if any, as applicable. Payment made after 10.05.2018 i.e. last date shall be treated as Non-Payment and no refund will be entertained. Fee once paid shall not be refunded at any cost. 

7. 6 posts are reserved for PwD with Orthopedic Disability from among the Notified posts who qualify in the online examination. 

8. The Online Recruitment Test will be held on 03.06.2018 in Bengaluru only. 

9. The candidates are advised to download their Admit Card from NIMHANS website http://www.nimhans.ac.in as no admit card will be sent by post. The Admit Cards will be hosted on NIMHANS website on or after 22.05.2018. 

10. On the basis of Online Recruitment Test (Computer Based) merit candidates will be called for skill test. Date and Time of skill test will be notified along with the result
